I'm a Big Girl Now!

For the past couple of weekends, Mr. GrapeJuice and I have been couch shopping.
It's been kind of hard to please each other. He wants one thing, and I want another.
Luckily, this past weekend we found something we both liked!
We found it at American Signature Furniture.
Isn't it darling?
I think it'll look wonderful in our new living room.
I think the sectional is a great way to add a lot of seating without taking up too much room.

A House to a Home

Since January, Mr. GrapeJuice and I have been looking for a house. We think that it is a perfect time to buy since the interest rate is low. Plus, the added incentive of  $8,000 doesn't hurt the process either. At some points, we were overwhelmed and didn't know what to do. But, we took our week long vacation to think about it and decided to pursue a house. It is a lovely, cozy 1940s cottage style home. {fingers crossed}

Wishful Wednesday

This Wednesday, I am wishing that this weekend goes well.

For the past two weekends, Mr. GrapeJuice and I have been looking at houses with our realtor.
I've found one that I like, and he's found one that he likes. However, they are two completely different styles.
The one I like is more contemporary and has great updates and features. The one he likes is an older home with great square footage.
We are going to view a few more homes this weekend, and I hope we fall in love with one of them.
Also, this weekend, I'm taking my mom, matron of honor {sister}, and my maid of honor {BFF} to see what I hope will be my wedding dress.

Nesting [...again]

Mr. GrapeJuice and I have been thinking about buying a house [once he gets a job and we have steady incomes]. We've talked about it a couple times, and I think it sounds like a marvelous idea! Because of this, I've been noticing houses more and more as I'm driving. Of course, I want a big house, but we can do that once we have kids and animals. For now, I want a small, ranch style house with a black door, black shutters, and pillars; much like the photo below!
Dear life,
Could you please start...soon?
I want a life with my future husband...
that...
doesn't involve me living at home!
Thanks!!
