Bridesmaid Dress

Long ago...

in the summer of 2009...

in the prime of my engagement...

I thought the dress below was absolutely perfect.

Now...

when I look at it...

it looks terribly structured and uncomfortable.

I have now found the dress below.

It looks sooooo comfortable and New-Years-Eve-party ready!

The criss-cross pattern echos the similar style on my gown.

And, I think the little flower on the shoulder strap is super sweet!

The dress also comes in gray, but it's not as va-va-voom! as the dress is in blue.

A Version of my Dress on Platinum Weddings

I like to find inspiration in lots of places. Sometimes, when I really want to torture myself, I watch Platinum Weddings on WeTV. There are some good ideas on there, but it usually baffles me how much money they spend! At any rate, I was watching the show one day and saw a version of my wedding dress! It's not exactly my dress though. {AHEM, Mr. GrapeJuice!} I was just so thrilled by it that I just had to share. :)

Wishful Wednesday

I wish...

 

my wedding dress was here.

I want to put it on and have it fitted to my body!

May can't come soon enough.

Wishful Wednesday

This Wednesday, I am wishing that this weekend goes well.

For the past two weekends, Mr. GrapeJuice and I have been looking at houses with our realtor.

I've found one that I like, and he's found one that he likes. However, they are two completely different styles.

The one I like is more contemporary and has great updates and features. The one he likes is an older home with great square footage.

We are going to view a few more homes this weekend, and I hope we fall in love with one of them.

Also, this weekend, I'm taking my mom, matron of honor {sister}, and my maid of honor {BFF} to see what I hope will be my wedding dress.

Like I'm on Meds. . .

I don't really have much to say.
All of yesterday and last night wore me out.
Mr. GrapeJuice's surgery was successful, but he now has a long recovery ahead of him.
Since I've been taking care of him, I feel a little disoriented.
I guess that should be expected though, right?
I do have a little bit of wedding related news.
Mr. GrapeJuice likes the wedding dress designer I've been drooling over for the past couple of months - Sophia Tolli.
{I also posted about her dresses awhile back too.}
This makes me feel good about my choices so far that are wedding related.
We really seem to be on the same page!!

Let's Be Honest

So, earlier this month I posted some pictures of dresses that I've tried on and love, and I still do. But, in true indecisive and picky bride fashion, can you guess what I've done? You probably can. I've started thinking that maybe those dresses aren't everything I need/want in my wedding dress. I was browsing through some designer dresses back in June and found Sophia Tolli. And, I am still in love, love, love with her!!! I'm kind of nervous about trying on any dresses of hers though without knowing what price range they fall in. Does anybody know??? I would really appreciate some help on this. Here are some of the dresses she creates that ooze gorgeousness and perfection.
