I Can Do That!

I have a jam packed next few weeks before school starts, and I'm stoked about it!

Tomorrow
I'll be meeting with a DJ, going to see some chairs {and hopefully like them!}, and I hope to be signing the catering contract. And, somewhere in there, I'm supposed to be meeting up with my MOH for a coffee date!

Saturday
Mr. GrapeJuice and I will be attending a marriage workshop through the Catholic Diocese of Nashville. It is an Engaged Couples Retreat at Scarritt-Bennett. If you want to read about it, you can click here. We have to fill out a Myers Briggs personality questionnaire form. I hate filling them out because I always get nervous that people will judge me and that I'm answering the questions wrong! {so silly.}

Next Saturday
Mr. GrapeJuice and I will be heading over to Street Tuxedo to check out their suits and tuxedos. I'm hoping to convince him that a gray suit would be the way to go. They look so sleek and would fit into the style of our wedding so well! Hopefully, he'll go for it.

The Last Saturday in July
My ladies from NC are coming in, and we are hopefully going to find a bridesmaid dress! Sadly, my sister won't be joining us because she'll a little newborn to take care of. {I'm going to be an aunt soon!!}
Plus, during all this time, I'm supposed to be setting up my classroom and getting it ready for the next school year. I haven't been able to go in yet though since they're in the process of replacing all of the flooring due to the flood at the beginning of May.

A Version of my Dress on Platinum Weddings

I like to find inspiration in lots of places. Sometimes, when I really want to torture myself, I watch Platinum Weddings on WeTV. There are some good ideas on there, but it usually baffles me how much money they spend! At any rate, I was watching the show one day and saw a version of my wedding dress! It's not exactly my dress though. {AHEM, Mr. GrapeJuice!} I was just so thrilled by it that I just had to share. :)

Wishful Wednesday

I wish that my marriage will be like this!
I saw this video on America's Funniest Home Videos last night.
I was watching it with my family, and we voted that it was one of the best videos we'd ever seen.
And, don't worry, guys, he makes her dance too!
It's mutual.

Happy Hump Day!!

A Bridal Luncheon

So...
I totally promised Mr. GrapeJuice that I wouldn't spend any unnecessary money as we are attempting to buy a house soon.

But...
I think it would be super cool to attend the bridal brunch hosted by Her Nashville and the NFocus magazine on January 31, 2010.
Are any fellow Nashville brides planning on attending?
Let me know.
Maybe we can meet up!

Just Laugh

Yesterday...
was...
interesting.

By far, the funniest and oddest Wednesday I have had in a long time.
Without going in to too much detail, it involved pee, poop, slavery, and Baman Piderman.
I don't even know what to say after a day like that.
All I can do is laugh!
:D

If you're having a lackluster week, then this short should bring a smile to your face.
{i hope}

Also...
as a little side note...
I love all things Christmas!
I have all ready started playing Christmas music in the privacy of my own car on the way to and from work.

This is my warning -
Expect a Christmas countdown and Christmas music on the blog very soon!
{and, please, don't hate me for it}

All Things Entertaining

So, I'm absolutely, positively sure that most of us have seen the new YouTube wedding video of the couple from Minnesota dancing down the aisle to "Forever" by Chris Brown. If you have not, stop what you're doing right now and WATCH THIS!!!

Jill and Kevin are a beautiful couple and quite modest. While on The Today Show, they talked about how dancing down the aisle was never up for debate. In fact, it was one of the first things that they talked about and decided upon. Jill, the bride, loves dance, and it has always been a part of her life. She talked about how she knew all along that dance would be involved in her wedding some how. You can read all about it here. And, much to my surprise, most of the dance was UNplanned. Jill and Kevin had a pretty talented wedding party - lucky them!

And, showing how truly loving and modest they are, they have started a website. Why have they done this? Because of the circumstances surrounding Chris Brown and his domestic violence case, the couple has chosen to set up a website to collect donations in hopes to fight domestic violence. They don't really want the fame from being a YouTube sensation, but they want to help those who are in need. How much more loving and perfect could they get?

If you are interested in making a donation or checking our their story, you can visit their website by clicked HERE.

And, as much as I love the video, I love the parody as well. You should definitely check it out. It's got a really sweet message at the end. You can find it HERE.
